Distilled in 1970 and aged patiently in the cellars of Maison Casterède, this exceptional Bas Armagnac captures over five decades of slow, deliberate maturation. 

On the nose, layers of aged leather, toasted hazelnuts and sun-dried fruits mingle with soft tobacco and antique oak. The palate is rich yet poised, offering notes of prune, burnt orange, walnut, and warming spice, carried on a silky texture shaped by decades in Gascon oak.

The finish is enduring and contemplative, leaving echoes of dark caramel, fine woodsmoke and cocoa powder, a true testament to the skill of the Casterède cellar masters and the singular character of the 1970 vintage.
