Distilled in 1974 and matured in French oak for nearly half a century, this elegant Bas Armagnac from Maison Casterède offers a remarkable glimpse into the past. 

The nose is deeply expressive, unveiling notes of spiced fig, dried apricot, walnut and soft leather, underscored by hints of orange peel, toasted almond and polished oak. On the palate, it is supple and layered, revealing flavours of prune, clove, dark honey and cigar box, wrapped in a mellow, velvety texture.

Bottled unblended from a single vintage and crafted in the heart of Bas-Armagnac, the region known for producing the most elegant and aromatic eaux-de-vie, the 1974 Casterède is a refined and rare spirit.
