Drawn from a single bourbon barrel laid down in 2008, this exclusive cask-strength release from Bladnoch Distillery captures the refined elegance of Lowland whisky with a bold and expressive character. Bottled from Cask 220, this single malt is part of Bladnoch’s Select Cask series, a collection showcasing the individuality of carefully chosen barrels from the distillery’s historic stocks.

On the nose, it opens with bright notes of vanilla bean, honeyed citrus and pear drops, gently layered with toasted coconut and soft oak. The palate delivers a lively and full-bodied profile, revealing flavours of crème brûlée, ripe orchard fruits, white pepper and subtle hints of mint and spice.

The finish is long, warming and clean, with lingering impressions of vanilla pod, citrus peel and delicate oak.

Bottled at a natural cask strength of 51.5% ABV and non-chill filtered, Bladnoch 2008 Cask 220 is a collector’s gem. Limited in release, and individually numbered, this is a whisky for those who appreciate purity, provenance, and rare Lowland character.
