An expressive and complex Lowland malt, the Bladnoch 19 Year Old showcases the distillery’s elegant signature style through full-term maturation in Oloroso sherry casks. This limited release offers a bold yet balanced profile, shaped by nearly two decades of ageing in richly seasoned European oak.

The nose is immediately inviting, with aromas of dried fruit, cinnamon, nutmeg, and dark honey, layered over hints of toasted oak and fig. On the palate, the whisky is velvety and full-bodied, delivering flavours of spiced plum, raisins, orange peel, and cocoa, enriched by a gentle nuttiness and the warmth of well-integrated sherry spice.

The finish is long and resonant, with lingering notes of dark chocolate, clove, and oak tannin - a tribute to the depth and clarity imparted by extended sherry maturation.

Bottled at 46.7% ABV and non-chill filtered to preserve its natural character, Bladnoch 19 Year Old is a remarkable expression of Lowland whisky craftsmanship.

Spirit Storage: Whisky, Cognac & Other Distillates

  • Seal Integrity: Check wax seals and corks periodically. For long-term storage, consider additional humidity control if cork-sealed.
