Striking, sculptural and entirely unique, this one-of-a-kind fluted raku vase has been handmade for Raison d’Être by renowned ceramic artist Catherine Lucktaylor.
Crafted using the ancient naked raku technique, the vase is defined by its softly fluted silhouette and smoke-fired finish. A rich dark blue band encircles the body and extends elegantly to the stem, providing a bold, contemporary contrast against the earthy tones of the raku clay.
A delicate line of 24ct gold leaf runs alongside the band, adding a luminous thread of detail that catches the light.
Measuring approximately 29cm in height by 14cm in width, the vase is a true collector’s item - a one-off piece that will never be replicated, offering absolute exclusivity to its future owner.
