A rare and contemplative work from one of the most prolific artists of our time, Eternal Sleep is the result of a landmark collaboration between Damien Hirst and the French crystal house Lalique. Created in 2017 and strictly limited, this sculpture seamlessly blends contemporary art with Lalique’s century-old tradition of crystal craftmanship.
Formed in striking clear crystal and handcrafted in Alsace using Lalique’s signature techniques, Eternal Sleep depicts a serene human skull encased in a cocoon of light and clarity.
Each sculpture is signed and numbered, and presented in a bespoke case with a certificate of authenticity.
