An extraordinary expression of time, craft, and Lowland character, Bladnoch 30 Year Old is a rare single malt by Scotland’s southernmost distillery. Aged for three decades in a combination of ex-bourbon barrels and Oloroso sherry casks, this limited release represents the pinnacle of Bladnoch’s refined and floral house style.

The nose opens with an interplay of dried orchard fruits, citrus oil and heather honey, enriched by subtle notes of antique oak, marzipan, and aged leather. On the palate, the whisky is layered and silky in texture, delivering flavours of spiced pear, orange peel, vanilla pod and toasted almond.

The finish is long, warming and contemplative, revealing lingering notes of dark chocolate, soft spice and dried apricot, underscored by the complexity earned through extended maturation.

  • Temperature: Maintain a cool, stable temperature, ideally below 20°C (68°F). Avoid fluctuations and extremes.
  • Light: Direct sunlight and strong artificial light can fade labels and alter flavour compounds over time - store in a dark cupboard or display case.
  • Seal Integrity: Check wax seals and corks periodically. For long-term storage, consider additional humidity control if cork-sealed.
  • Display Bottles: If showcasing spirits, rotate occasionally and avoid placing them near windows, radiators, or hot lighting.
