Limited Edition Fluted Naked Raku Vase in Red by Catherine Lucktaylor
Selected with intention
This limited-edition fluted vase is the work of acclaimed ceramic artist Catherine Lucktaylor and has been crafted exclusively for Raison d’Être.
Each vase is individually hand-thrown and finished using the naked raku technique, a process rooted in ancient Japanese tradition and known for its raw, smoky aesthetic. The form is elegant and fluid, defined by its gently fluted silhouette and organic surface textures.
The interior of the neck is glazed in red, offering a subtle contrast to the tactile exterior and lending a moment of unexpected colour to each piece. Due to the nature of the raku firing process, no two vases are the same.
Standing approximately 29cm tall by 14cm wide, minor variations in size and finish are to be celebrated as part of the artist’s handmade process.
Only 10 pieces will ever be made, ensuring exclusivity and collectability.
